The Steripen Ultralight from Katadyn is the smallest and lightest model in the Steripen series. This device can prepare 1 liter of water per use. Its technology is as simple as it is ingenious: ultraviolet light rays sterilize clear water by eliminating 99.9% of protozoa, bacteria and even viruses. The water is ready to drink as soon as the lamp turns off and the green LED lights up. With a fully charged battery, up to 20 liters of water can be treated. And don't worry - if the Steripen is not used for a while, the high-quality lithium-ion battery remains charged for months and is therefore ready for use at any time. The Steripen water purifiers are only suitable for clear water, as cloudy, sediment-containing water impairs the effectiveness of UV light. The Steripen is ideal for travel and emergencies.
