Steripen® Ultra™ UV water purifier

The Steripen Ultra UV water purifier removes bacteria, 99.9% protozoa (including Giardia and Cryptosporidia) and viruses. It is powered by a Li-Ion battery, which can be charged using the included USB charging cable and, when the sun is shining, for example with the OnFire solar charger . With a full battery , 50 liters of water can be treated.
It's easy to use: stir the Steripen's UV lamp in clear water for 48 seconds (0.5 liter) or 90 seconds (1 liter). The Steripen water purifiers are only suitable for clear water, as cloudy, sediment-containing water impairs the effectiveness of UV light.
