Poncho Swagman Roll

This poncholiner is made from a thin nylon fabric and filled with Climashield® Apex™, a premium insulating material. The poncho is versatile and can be used as an emergency jacket, sleeping bag or sleeping bag liner, blanket, hammock liner (quilt), etc.

Description

In the past, trappers, trekkers and even soldiers did not wear sleeping bags. They carried rolls of blankets. Until recently, wool was the best blanket material. Then, just a few decades ago, nylon fabrics emerged. During the Vietnam War, a new blanket and the poncho liner appeared. Ultralight blanket that also serves as a warming lining for rain protection ponchos. In Australian slang, “swagman” means a traveling worker. Something like an American cowboy or trapper, occasionally looking for work on the frontier. The difference was that the Australian swagman traveled on foot and carried all his belongings in a bedroll. With our Swagman Roll® we salute those intrepid men who shiver in their damp blankets on chilly mornings & but with our Swagman Roll® you never have to emulate that particular part of their lifestyle. It is made of thin nylon fabric filled with one of the best insulating materials mankind has ever dreamed of and the Climashield® Apex™. Swagman Roll® is no ordinary blanket. It is more of a multi-tool that can be used anywhere a warm cover is needed. You can use it as a poncho liner, an emergency sleeping bag, upgrade your regular sleeping bag with it, wrap it like a blanket, line your hammock with it and simply wear it as a long, warm coat on its own.
