During their demanding operations, emergency services – whether fire departments or other relief organizations – are exposed to extreme conditions, (mechanical) dangers and risks in the form of sharp objects or debris and thus the risk of injury. An important part of the protective equipment of fire departments and relief organizations are protective gloves, which in Germany must meet the high requirements of the German Statutory Accident Insurance (DGUV).
