Basics

First think about: How many people do you want to cook for? Do you only need hot water, for example to prepare a tactical food pack or a CONVAR meal , or do you also need to fry a piece of meat, fish or vegetables or (fried) eggs? Once you have clarified these questions, it will be easier for you to put together the right tableware.

Basic: the cooker

It's clear: Without a cooker, there is no energy-boosting meal or warming drink. Our OnFire mini gas cooker , which is simply screwed onto the gas cartridge , is classic and practical at the same time . It is ultra light at 40g and has a particularly small pack size . As a solo trekker or van lifer, you won't want to miss it.

Are the weather conditions outdoors uncomfortable or is there a strong wind? Our foldable , super-light aluminum windscreen is a must-have that increases the burning efficiency of your (gas) stove.

If you want to heat at least one meal in an emergency, then the Esbit pocket stove with dry fuel tablets is a minimalist and super space-saving alternative.

Should it be more of an all-rounder power cooker? Then how about our lightweight and foldable OnFire Titan Hobo ? The 210g lightweight with super performance can be operated with different fuels (wood, organic material and solid fuel).

Do you have a fireplace? Our OnFire fire steel can reliably get tinder burning in no time, regardless of the weather. With wood chips as a kindling aid, you have the perfect tandem for building a fire.

Which material for pots etc.?

Stainless steel, aluminum and titanium are available for outdoor and VanLife kitchens at. Stainless steel is very robust, but comparatively heavy. Aluminum is lighter, but controversial because unhealthy salts can leach out of the material. If you choose titanium , you'll kill several birds with one stone: It's super light , easy to clean, heats up quickly and is very durable.

Pots and other containers for on the go

If you want to be minimalist and save on washing up and weight, just one pot is enough. A super practical solution is our multifunctional OnFire Titanium Mug , which you can use as a pot and mug or our OnFire pot-pan combination (900 ml + 350 ml) for 2-3 people.

Don't want to drink your drink from a plastic bottle? Then the ultra-light OnFire titanium bottle , the OnFire aluminum drinking bottle or the Esbit insulated bottles are ideal.

For strenuous or longer tours, especially in nature, it is advisable to prepare a hot and energizing meal in advance. The Esbit thermal container or Esbit thermal mug will keep you hot for many hours.

Would you like to eat practically on the go? In our 1200 ml OnFire lunch box with the integrated bamboo cutting board you can pack a wholesome and delicious snack for an adventurous day and freshly slice vegetables, fruit, bread and sausage or cheese on the board.

Cutlery for on the go

When it comes to cutlery, we also rely primarily on titanium and multifunctionality due to its low weight and durability. A spork is a combination of a spoon and a fork, also known as a spork. With us you will find a foldable spork  and a spork that even has a cutting function. Our extra long (22.5 cm) titanium spoon is particularly suitable for eating tactical food packs . An alternative sustainable solution is our bamboo cutlery set - reusable, super light and conveniently rolled up in a fabric case.

In order to optimally equip you for your adventures - whether in nature or in the camper - we are constantly expanding our range so that you can easily prepare and enjoy your meals outside or on the go!
