Wofür ist ein Notvorrat und was ist der 72h Notvorrat?

What is an emergency supply or bug out bag and why are they useful?

A good emergency supply is as well as, for example, a First-aid kit or bag is an indispensable part of personal precaution. Once an emergency has occurred, it is usually too late to take precautionary measures. Then you have to react quickly and bridge the exceptional situation. An emergency does not have to reach apocalyptic proportions. A widespread power outage lasting several days can mean that supermarkets can no longer be supplied and the water supply is affected. There is also a risk that the supply chain will be interrupted in the event of natural disasters caused by extreme weather conditions.

What does a sufficient supply of food and drinking water look like?

The goal is to be able to survive 10 days without shopping - be it because groceries cannot be delivered or you cannot leave the house. You can put together your individual emergency care package according to the recommendations of the Federal Office for Civil Protection and Disaster Assistance (BKK) and the Federal Ministry of Food (see “Useful information” below). If necessary, this can be supplemented with long-lasting rations such as: T actical Foodpack or CONVAR be supplemented. Alternatively, you can simply use the compact 7 day emergency supply from SOS Food Supply . The same applies to emergency supplies: the right mixture makes all the difference! Since certain emergency situations can also result in a power outage, you should have candles, matches , one Flashlight , an emergency flashlight a simple one Gas cooker have at home. In addition to emergency supplies, the BKK also recommends emergency luggage or an emergency/escape backpack (see “Useful information” below). Imagine there is a fire or you have to be evacuated at short notice. Then it has to be quick and with a prepared bug out bag you have everything important at hand without any stress. The so-called Bug Out Bag is intended to help you get through the first few days away from home. A backpack is (also according to the BKK) more practical than a suitcase because your hands are free and can carry out other tasks.
